Rebuilding Together San Francisco provides home repair and renovation programs for our San Francisco neighbors, nonprofit organizations and community spaces. The work we do creates safer and healthier environments and makes it possible for people to live independently for longer in their own homes.

Since 1989 we have rehabilitated more than 3,000 homes and 313 facilities servings tens of thousands of people. Hundreds of skilled laborers, civic minded companies, religious and community groups, and thousands of individual donors have supported the work we do with financial and in-kind donations. Please join us in helping to maintain the affordability, diversity and quality of life of San Francisco neighborhoods for all.

Women creating real change for women in our community
Women across the country are working hard to make ends meet, often in unsafe homes and communities.  In 2017, 70% of the households served by Rebuilding Together San Francisco were headed by women. A woman in San Francisco earn 84 cents for every dollar earned by her male counterpart. This wage gap, combined with chronically high housing costs, means many women and their children are forced to live in overcrowded, unhealthy, or unsafe housing. Together we can increase the health and safety of women's homes, and empower women to become changemakers in their communities.
